The building of Tipsy Toad

Andy broke ground on Tipsy Toad Cabin in 2019.   Soon after getting the site ready, our Cabin kit was delivered from BattleCreek Log Homes (just outside of Chattanooga). That was quite  a site watching all of those logs being unloaded down our 1/2 mile gravel road!

He did a lot of customizing to include: 

• Dormer windows to allow more headroom and a half bath in the loft
• Rearranged floor plan to allow for a bedroom downstairs
• Custom built loft ladder and railing
• Full walk in shower with spa-like rain head
• Full basement that we ultimately turned into a game room
• Instead of a six foot deck off the back, there is a complete wrap around porch that makes you feel like you're in a treehouse

A few years later, in 2022, we opened Tipsy Toad for guests and have enjoyed every minute of it.  We hope you'll consider visiting and see why we consistently receive 5 star reviews from our guests.
